Is Creativity on the Brink?

Lately, social media has been overflowing with AI-generated Ghibli-style images. And yeah, they look cool.

But doesn’t it feel strange that AI is taking over the role of artists? Feels like we’re getting a little too comfortable letting machines do all the work.

Real art comes from human experience, the emotions, struggles, and imperfections that make it special. AI-generated images might be pretty, but they don’t have that personal touch. It’s like comparing instant noodles to homemade ramen. Sure, both fill you up, but one actually has heart in it.

And what happens when young people stop seeing art as a real career? If AI keeps taking over, why would anyone bother putting in effort developing their craft? We’re not just losing jobs, we’re losing that spark of creativity that makes us human. If AI starts doing everything for us, we won’t be getting smarter, just lazier. Imagine a future where we don’t even think for ourselves anymore, just sitting around, waiting for a bot to do it all.

Here’s to keeping creativity alive—happy reading!
