The news that Sir Beethoven would perform his newly composed music spread, and within just a few hours, all tickets were sold out. On the vibrant stage, he unleashed an extraordinary wave of melodies: the Ninth Symphony. Everyone was spellbound. Even after it ended, the magic seemed to linger. It felt as though they were still floating on a wave of pure joy. When they regained their senses, some audience members climbed onto the stage, surrounding him with frenzied applause. Word quickly spread that “The melody of the Ninth Symphony has opened the gates of heaven.”

Yet, the composer who inspired all this excitement and madness remained indifferent. Silent. He showed no emotion. Despite creating such remarkable music, he himself could not hear a single note. A tragic accident in his youth had left him deaf. Since then, whenever he picked up an instrument, he would just play. He couldn’t hear anything himself.

Hearing this, many couldn’t hold back their tears that day. The creator of this wave of melodies couldn’t even know what he had created! Even if we set aside his other compositions, for the Ninth Symphony alone, he remains the greatest music composer in the world today.
