Hooghly, West Bengal
I bought a flat on Mars today,
Two spaceships are parked in the bay.
At times I come down to Earth below,
To take a break and let time slow.
With lenses fixed upon my sight,
I can snap pictures day or night.
The aliens live just next door,
And do the work I can’t ignore.
All the wishes inside my mind,
Are fulfilled in a moment, kind.
My mind’s a remote, it’s clear to see,
It picks up signals easily.
I no longer walk from here to there,
I float through the air without a care.
No words escape my lips to say,
In silence, thoughts will find their way.
Humans now are robots, it’s true,
And robots live like humans too.
In science’s rise, I stand with pride,
For all the progress we now ride.
