We used to write letters to connect with all,
But now we only wait for someone to call.
We used to share our lives with each other,
But now it’s tough to bring friends together.
There was a time when fashion was scarce,
But now fashion is everywhere, bold and fierce.
There was a time when things were cheap,
But now prices rise so high and deep.
There was a time when people helped you grow,
But now many try to make you slow.
There was a time with little to choose,
But now we have everything, nothing to lose.
Those were truly the good old days,
Filled with love and compassion’s golden rays.
